VP New Technologies & Disruptions, Louvre Hotels Group
After becoming Chief Technology Officer for the Group in 2010, he was in a position to wear two hats, one as specialist in innovation and the other for the hotel business, following an initial tour in that sector. Both an inventor of tomorrow’s innovations and the group’s record keeper, he began his career installing information systems at the Hotel Martinez in Cannes in 1991. He then climbed the ladder at the Groupe du Louvre until becoming its Chief Engineer. Thierry has developed an original idea, namely the pooling of hotel applications that makes it possible to connect more than 750 hotels using centralized PMS/CRS that facilitates bookings and chambermaid scheduling. With his help, Louvre Hotels Group was the first to develop a Smartphone application to make it easier for customers to access and monitor their bookings.
