Director of Guest Experience, Marriott International
Papa started his hospitality career in 2000 with Micros-Fidelio as Project and Installation Manager and joined Marriott in 2002 as Cluster Systems Manager in Italy.
Papa them moved to Marriott Europe Office in 2007 as Area Director IT Eastern Europe and covered several positions in IT, including Senior Manager Field Operation for Western & Central Europe, working very closely to hotel operations in launching some key initiatives for the continent. In 2015, Papa's affinity for technology and passion for digital and guest experiences operations brought him to the to the position of Director of Mobility Guest Services for MEA and Europe to oversee the launch and activation of Mobile Guest Services, including mobile request and chat, mobile key and the evolution of their CRM platform.
To better support the MEA continent, since December 2017, Papa has been based in Dubai, as Director of Guest Experiences and Mobility Operations for Middle East and Africa, overlooking the full range of digital, mobile and CRM operational initiatives.
