VP of Hospitality, Beekeeper
Connie Rheams serves as VP of Hospitality for digital workplace app developer Beekeeper, a start-up that won five of the last five hospitality technology awards for its ability to digitize a hotel’s non-desk workforce by connecting operational systems and communication channels within one secure, intuitive interface. While mobile technology continues to make strides in connecting hoteliers to guests at every touchpoint along their journeys, Rheams advocates that it’s the employees who make the biggest difference in the stay experience. She is dedicating her career to helping hotel companies embrace new trends in information technologies and create strategies to drive customer loyalty, increase revenues, and define and deliver a better/unique guest experience. Rheams is recognized and respected as a highly innovative visionary and proven leader in the hospitality space and has a proven track record in leading teams to drive incremental revenue and to identify new product development opportunities. She was recognized in 2014 by HFTP as one of the hospitality technology industry’s notable and influential female IT executives. She is a Board Member of the Cornell Center for Innovative Hospitality Labor & Employment Relations (CIHLER), holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
