Bill Martin


Bill Martin is the Chief Information Officer for AEG. AEG is one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world. AEG owns, controls or is affiliated with a collection of companies including over 100 of the world’s preeminent facilities such as STAPLES Center (Los Angeles), PlayStation Theater (Times Square), Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Las Vegas), Mercedes-Benz Arena (Berlin) and The O2, a 28-acre development located in London. All are part of the portfolio of AEG Facilities, AEG Merchandising, and AEG Global Partnerships, responsible for worldwide sales and servicing of sponsorships naming rights and other strategic partnerships.
In addition, AEG developed and operates StubHub Center, a $150 million national training center, an Official U.S. Olympic training site and features elite facilities for soccer, tennis, track & field, track cycling, boxing, lacrosse, rugby, football and other sports, as well as concerts and family shows, and is home to the LA Galaxy.

AEG Live is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance. AEG Live is comprised of touring, festival, broadcast and special event divisions and includes touring artists like Taylor Swift and the WHO. AEG Live is the largest producer of music festivals in North America, from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

AEG Sports includes the LA Kings of the National Hockey League and the LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer, both multi-time champions in their respective leagues.

Bill is responsible for technology strategy and execution for all of the businesses and venues associated with the various operating companies of AEG. Operating under the name Digital Services, the organization is focused on delivering and brokering services across the enterprise that include security, compliance, business intelligence, social media and venue technology & innovation.
Prior to AEG, Bill was the long running CIO at Royal Caribbean Cruises where the IT team was regularly recognized for innovation excellence. Bill is particularly proud of the recognition his teams have garnered over the years, including top innovation awards from both Computerworld and InformationWeek.

Bill was also recognized by CIO peers as a “Top Ten Breakaway Leader”, was a founding member of the Florida CIO Summit, is a governing body member of the Southern California CIO Summit and is on the editorial advisory board for InformationWeek.

Bill holds a degree in business administration and is happily married with four children.
