Page Petry Joins The HTNG Board of Governors

CHICAGO – (March 4, 2016) – Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) announces an addition to its Board of Governors, the key direction-setting body for the organization. Consisting of CIO-level hotel IT executives from 20 of the world's leading hotel groups, it has the technology responsibility for over 3 million guest rooms. The election of Page Petry as Governor further solidifies HTNG as the leading hospitality technology association in the industry.

Page Petry is the Chief IT Officer of the Americas at Marriott International in Washington D.C., where she is charged with directing key initiatives from conception to completion, with responsibility for 3500 hotels that span from Canada to Argentina. 

HTNG’s Chief Executive Officer oversees day-to-day operations of the organization and supervises a staff of nine professionals. The position reports to an all-volunteer Board of Governors and President, drawn from top-level IT executives from 21 hotel groups from around the world.

Ms. Petry joined Marriott in 1979 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in several areas including Hotel Operations, Customer Call Centers and Regional Information Systems. Following her initial eleven year tenure with Marriott, Page worked with Fannie Mae and Varsity, an internet start-up company before rejoining Marriott in 2000 as the Regional Director of Information Resources (IR) North American Lodging Field Services for the Southeast Region. In 2006 Page’s accountabilities were expanded to include the North American portfolio as the Senior Vice President, IR North American Lodging Field Services. Under her leadership the organization continued to develop as a best in class Shared Services organization with skilled resources providing IT leadership throughout North America. In 2010 Page joined the Americas Continent organization as the Chief Information Resources Officer- Americas. Over the last four years Page has led the IT integration for the Autograph Collection, Gaylord Hotels and Delta Hotels and Resorts. In 2011, Page was honored with a place on Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders.
