Differentiate your products from your competitors!  The HTNG Certification Program allows vendors to certify products as compliant with released HTNG specifications.  A questionnaire allows you to document exactly which specifications you have certified, and (where options are available) how.  This document is publicly available to your customers and provides proof of your conformance.

Upon achieving certification, you will be licensed to use the "HTNG Certified" logo in your advertising and collateral material, to claim that your product is HTNG certified, and to use the HTNG name in describing it.

Certification requires conformance of your product to technical specifications.  To see which application areas have relevant HTNG specifications available for certification, visit Specifications by Category.

The HTNG Certified label is very powerful, but must be used with great care, because false or misleading claims will be strictly enforced under trademark law.  HTNG certification applies to specific versions of specific products (or combinations of products).  You may only use the logo or the "HTNG Certified" claims with respect to the certified products.  If, for example, you use it on a general marketing brochure or trade show signage, then you must clearly indicate which products are HTNG Certified, and may not imply that any other products are HTNG Certified.

Manufacturers and software providers may not claim compliance with portions of the requirements of any HTNG specification or standard, and may not use the HTNG name or the name of the specification or standard in any statements about their respective product(s) unless the product(s) is (are) certified as compliant to the specification or standard.
