This Resources section of our website is a repository for a variety of tools and information about programs that we offer to help improve the industry.  Some items are available for the benefit of the entire industry, while others are for members only.  The main sections are:

	Best Practices With the great wealth of knowledge and industry experience of our members, we are able to put together a wide variety of best practices guides and documents.  This section houses several best practices documents that are available for the general public and which cover a range of hospitality technology issues from infrastructure to antenna systems, and from televisions to phone systems.
	Case Studies A new offering from HTNG is a series of case studies.  HTNG members are offering up their industry expertise to create case studies to provide solid examples of how technology deployment has improved operations in hotels.  Topics cover hospitality technology areas including meeting guests' bandwidth demands by maximizing copper wiring and fiber deployments.   We are just getting started on publishing these documents, check back often for more.
	Discussion Board HTNG's new interactive community for asking questions about and discussing HTNG, its specifications, broader technology trends, and industry issues.  Some portions are open to any registered user, while sections about HTNG specifications and how to implement them are members-only.  (Link will open a new browser window)
	Most Innovative Hospitality Technology Award This award, also known as the "Innovation Award," is a means for HTNG's hotel members to recognize and award the best new uses of technology within hospitality industry each year.  In this section you can view winners, understand how the competition works, and, early each year, enter your technology for consideration.
	Hotel Credit Card Security About 40% of the data breaches in the past year occurred in hotels.  HTNG is helping the hotel industry battle the organized credit card thieves on several fronts.  The Credit Card Security page provides information about our joint efforts with AH&LA and HFTP to make hospitality a harder target.  Read on for details on our data security specifications and secure payments framework (listed below) which already available, additional workgroup efforts, best practices, and background material.
	Secure Payments Framework We brought together about a dozen hotel company security experts to formulate a payment systems structure to help hotels become a less desirable target for credit card this.  The Secure Payments Framework document is the result of their efforts. It outlines ways that hotels and their payments systems partners can better protect customer card data and keep hotel systems
	Smarter Buyers' Guide Hundreds of the industry's top technologists from hotels, vendors, and consulting groups have collaborated through HTNG to document best practices and design principles across a wide range of hotel systems. This free resource can help ensure that the technology you're buying meets the best available design standards for hotel systems.
	Specifications Adoption Tracker Curious to know which vendors in the hospitality industry are certified to HTNG specifications and standards?  We have captured, to the best of our ability,  the state of adoption of HTNG specifications by the industry's technology producers in this Adoption Tracker.
	Vendor Marketing Resources A compilation of resources for HTNG vendor members who wish to make the most of their membership status in HTNG.  Items include logos for product and website use; certification logo/branding information; how to reference HTNG in press releases; event marketing and speaking opportunities, and our premium memberships.
	Webinars HTNG Webinars are a great way to get up to speed on a range of hospitality technologies.  These free resources are generally 60-90 minute sessions that take viewers through topics such as networking, communications, Wi-Fi standards, fiber cabling, cellular systems and many more. These sessions are available 24/7 on our secure collaboration site, but can only accessed by enrolled HTNG members.
