This Resources section of our website is a repository for a variety of tools and information about programs that we offer to help improve the industry. Some items are available for the benefit of the entire industry, while others are for members only. The main sections are:
Best PracticesWith the great wealth of knowledge and industry experience of our members, we are able to put together a wide variety of best practices guides and documents. This section houses several best practices documents that are available for the general public and which cover a range of hospitality technology issues from infrastructure to antenna systems, and from televisions to phone systems. |

Case StudiesA new offering from HTNG is a series of case studies. HTNG members are offering up their industry expertise to create case studies to provide solid examples of how technology deployment has improved operations in hotels. Topics cover hospitality technology areas including meeting guests' bandwidth demands by maximizing copper wiring and fiber deployments. We are just getting started on publishing these documents, check back often for more. |

Discussion BoardHTNG's new interactive community for asking questions about and discussing HTNG, its specifications, broader technology trends, and industry issues. Hotel Credit Card SecurityAbout 40% of the data breaches in the past year occurred in hotels. HTNG is helping the hotel industry battle the organized credit card thieves on several fronts. The Credit Card Security page provides information about our joint efforts with AH&LA and HFTP to make hospitality a harder target. Read on for details on our data security specifications and secure payments framework (listed below) which already available, additional workgroup efforts, best practices, and background material. |

WebinarsHTNG Webinars are a great way to get up to speed on a range of hospitality technologies. These free resources are generally 60-90 minute sessions that take viewers through topics such as networking, communications, Wi-Fi standards, fiber cabling, cellular systems and many more. These sessions are available 24/7 on our secure collaboration site, but can only accessed by enrolled HTNG members. |
