Cindy Estis Green to Speak at 2016 HTNG European Conference

Cindy Estis Green, CEO and Co-founder of Kalibri Labs, will present her topic “Demystifying the Digital Marketplace” at the 2016 HTNG European Conference on 25-27 October. This session will discuss competition with third party intermediaries, methods to recognize and manage distribution costs, techniques to improve hotel profit and more.

Estis Green says “Managing this dynamic is challenging for operators, marketers and technologists. Many third parties are participating in the interaction with guests at every point of contact and the way hotels utilize these third parties influences both operating costs and the nature of the relationship a hotel has with its consumers.”

The amount spent to acquire customers for hotels continues to increase across the United States and Europe.

Estis Green says, “Consumers want convenience and expect the vendors they use to understand and anticipate their needs. Understanding consumer motivation is important in order to manage these consumer acquisition costs the same way hotels manage labor costs.”

This session is aimed to provide attendees a broader understanding of how the digital marketplace and third party technology companies are impacting the hotel industry growth potential and profitability.

Estis Green says, “Having a glimpse into what is currently happening and what will happen will convey valuable insights on an important set of stakeholders who manage and develop the industry’s technology platforms.”

HTNG is looking forward to having Cindy Estis Green at the 2016 HTNG European Conference. Estis Green expresses her mirrored excitement, “I spend a lot of time with sales, marketing, revenue management and distribution strategy executives. I am very much looking forward to hearing the point of view of those responsible for technology and how the changes in the distribution landscape are changing how hotel technology is deployed.”
