HTNG membership provides benefits both for hotel companies and vendors that want to actively define and implement the next generation of technology; for those who cannot or do not wish to participate actively but who want to influence it; and for those who simply want to be aware of what it will look like so that they can plan and budget accordingly.   To join HTNG, click here.

What benefits can you expect?  The following benefits are available to all members unless noted otherwise.

• Logon credentials to the HTNG private collaboration website.  This website houses all meeting notes, working papers, and specifications developed by HTNG workgroups.  While some very early drafts developed by individual members may not be posted, every document that is made available to the entire workgroup is posted on this site.

• Rights to use all specifications published by HTNG on the same basis as all other HTNG members, in technologies you produce, customize, sell, or purchase.

• For vendors, substantial member discounts to HTNG's Branding and Certification Program, to certify products.§

• The right to propose new workgroups to address specific problems of interest to you.  Workgroup charters are negotiated with the HTNG Board of Directors.

  The right to apply for and participate in workgroups for which you qualify (does not apply to Individual Industry Partner or Allied members except in certain circumstances.  This right is subject to HTNG's workgroup policies, which govern the selection process.  When more companies apply then there are slots available for participation in a given category, priority is determined by these policies.  Please note that for existing workgroups, a vote of the current workgroup members is needed to ratify admission of new voting members; however, most workgroups welcome active participation by any interested parties.§

• The right to provide feedback to active workgroups in which you are not participating, at defined points in time.

• Opportunities to attend HTNG's annual conferences in the US and/or Europe.§

• Opportunities to network with key hotel company and technology provider executives at HTNG events and workgroup meetings.§ 

• Discounts for attendance and/or sponsorship at certain industry conferences and events, and discounts on certain promotional or media placements.

Industry Partner members are entitled to participate:

• In any HTNG-sponsored demonstrations or marketing efforts, whether or not they participate in any sponsoring workgroup(s).§

• In any compliance or certification programs that workgroups may establish.§

Regular (hotel) members who are senior technology officers within their companies may apply for available positions on the HTNG Board of Directors.

Platinum Memberships

Platinum memberships are available as an upgrade to any corporate membership, and carries additional benefits.

• Featured placement on HTNG website members list

• Identified as Platinum Member, with company logos, on HTNG promotional materials and website

• Rights to use the HTNG logo with the words "Platinum Member," in a standard format, on company advertising material, website, etc.

• 21-day priority signup period for sponsorships, exhibit tables, and other promotional opportunities at HTNG's US and European meetings and conferences.

• Priority for other HTNG events and activities where we anticipate greater demand than supply.

• 25% discount on sponsorships and exhibit tables at HTNG US & European Conferences.

• 10% discount on conference registration for company employees.

• Discounts on other sponsorships and events may vary.
