Workgroup.
These meetings are
closed - you must be a
member of the workgroup,
or have an invitation,
in order to attend.

Qualifications/Eligibility:
The HTNG European
Members' Meeting & Conference is a
members-only
event. Policies on
attendance can be found
here. With
one exception, you or
your company must be a
member of HTNG in order
to attend. The
exception is that
non-member hoteliers
(employees of
hospitality companies)
who would like to
learn more about HTNG
prior to joining may be
eligible to attend as a
guest of one of our
sponsors, or at a
subsidised rate.

A special package is
available for non-member
hospitality company
employees based in
Europe or the Middle
East. This package
includes a one-year
individual membership
(normally US$300) plus
the conference
attendance, for just the
early registration price
of US$625.

You have the choice to stay at either of two hotels, depending
on your preference. The conference will be held at The
Grand Hotel Vienna, and we have many rooms available there.
We also have some rooms across the street at The Ring, Vienna's
Casual Luxury Hotel. Both hotels are run by JJW Hotels &
Resorts and are offering the same rate - your choice is a matter
of personal preference and style!

Nearest Airport:
The Vienna International
Airport (Schwechat Airport) is about 20km (35 minutes)
from the Grand Hotel Wien and offers nonstop service to most
major European and middle Eastern cities, and to Bangkok,
Beijing, Delhi, Mumbai, New York, Seoul, Taipei, Tokyo,
Toronto, and Washington.

Vienna
International Airport to Grand Hotel Wien (city center):To get from the
Vienna Airport at Schwechat to the city center, you can
choose from the City Airport Train, an Airport Express bus,
the Schnellbahn (City Train), the Vienna Airport Service, or
a taxi. The transfer time is approximately 20km (35
minutes). For bus and train options, you will need a taxi to
get from the train/bus station to the hotel (€10-12). For

Train: leaves every half hour from the airport and city
center (Landstrasse/Wien Mitte). The ride lasts 16 minutes
and costs €9.00.

Busses of the Vienna Airport Lines: to/from the city center
(1, Morzinplatz / Franz-Josefs-Kai). Runs every day from
about 5:00 am to midnight; runs every 30 minutes; €6.00

Schnellbahn
(City Train): From the airport to the center of Vienna, take
a train marked "Wien Mitte," "Wien Nord" or "Floridsdorf."

(Slovakia) Airport is located 65 km from the center of
Vienna. While less convenient to central Vienna, it may
offer low-cost carrier options for many attendees from

Bratislava Airport to Vienna: Terravision
offers a direct bus transfer (for Ryanair passengers only)
to central Vienna (80-90 minutes, €8.00,

Or you can take a taxi or the #61 bus to the main train
station in Bratislava, and take the train to Vienna's Südbahnhof, which runs roughly hourly from 6:50am until
11:50pm.; tickets are about €10.30. By taxi, you can reach
the center of Vienna in 45 minutes.
