Our Activities

HTNG is a vibrant organization with many ongoing activities.  Our members actively participate in these activities, and some of them are available as well to the general community.  For more information, click on the topic heading below, or menu item (left).

Conferences

Our conferences are typically two to three days in duration. They are focal points for networking, education, and personal or business development for many of our members. We offer events in four regions of the world.  Senior level hotel IT executives may attend HTNG's conferences with or without joining as members; vendors and other industry participants must hold an HTNG membership to attend.

Standards Development

HTNG actively produces standards for interoperability for applications, devices, and networks, and offers certification for many of them.

Meetings

Our focus on bringing the industry together to collaborate on solving our issues could not be achieved without meetings, and we hold dozens of them every month. This page contains details the different types of meetings we use to achieve our goals.

Workgroups

Workgroups have been described as the "heart and soul" of HTNG, connecting hotels and vendors to address some of the hospitality industry's most difficult technology challenges. Architecture

HTNG’s maintains an ongoing effort that has developed, and continues to refine, an industry reference architecture for the hospitality industry.  This activity has been recognized in several articles in ComputerWorld magazine as the first effort to extend the concept of Enterprise Architecture to an entire industry.
